DEITIES
What Are They? ;;
Deities are essentially god characters, many standard RP rules do not apply to them, as such these are very powerful characters to have and there are many things you can do with them. In this thread I'll attempt to cover as much as possible about how they work and what rules you'll need to follow. We'll start with the very basics and work our way though. It's a bit of a mouthful and we don't ask you read all of it but do try and familiarize yourself with the core rules listed here.
How are they Different? ;;
For all intents and purposes Deities are just like any other character, they can socialize, join groups and packs, fall in love and be as the mortals are. They can choose to hide the fact that they're a god or flaunt it like a skill. It's all by choice. The difference is whether the creatures around your character know it or not your character is able to change things in the world in ways normal characters can't.
While there are many creatures with powerful abilities when used on a god these powers just won't work, this leaves you the choice to laugh it off or pretend it does so it doesn't brake the image you're characters built. Deities do not need oxygen to live, the don't starve or die, they can't be crushed, maimed or slaughtered in any way. The can only choose when they want to be wounded and their powers cannot be stopped by anyone but another god. They do not age though they can make themselves look as though they are. They can feel hunger and thirst but have no need for either.
What Do They Do? ;;
Deities can do a number of things based on their level, which we'll explain in more detail later on, these sorts of things include but are not limited to; Effecting plots, changing location appearances, wounding or healing, powers, the ability to grant other characters powers, changing aspects in RP threads and many more.
Leveling? ;;[/blockquote]
text
level info ;One ;; A level one god is the lowest ranking deity. All the standard rules apply but they are unable to change the lands, create new lands, directly kill or bring creatures to life unless given permission.
Two ;; Depending on what the deities power commands a level two god can directly effect anything within the roleplay, moving earth, changing emotions and similar.
Three ;; A powerful deity of level three can create and modify the lands around it, morphing the appearance of Estyre. They can kill and give life at will if their ability dictates it and their powers are as strong as they can get.
Four ;; These immensely powerful deities can create new worlds, entire continents, new creatures and new powers at will. They can change anything that their abilities allow regardless of permission.
How Do These Powers Work? ;;

Life / Death ;; These sorts of powers are universal but those gods who specialize in them will be effected far more intensely. Those who are gods of either life or death, perhaps even both, will have responsibilities similar to that of a staff member. There will be times where you'll see threads that contain words similar to (God of Life). Consider this your bat signal. If you own a god that fits the description it means they need you to do something that only your kind of od can do, for example, giving life to those having babies, killing the elderly, healing the sick or making healthy wither. These tasks are important and can be roleplayed out or simply posted as (The gods have heard your plea) (wip)
